JOB TITLE Welding Process Engineering WHAT YOU WILL DO • Strong Engineering fundamentals in manufacturing process and electronics • Proficiency in CAD modeling. AutoCAD or CATIA V5/V6 experience a plus but not mandatory. • Proficiency with dimensional control, statistics and data analysis • Preferred experience with various manufacturing processes such as metal stamping, welding/brazing, and hemming • Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards (PFMEA, control plan, etc.) • Follow the policies or procedures of HMGMA. • Review and manage the construction progress of the body shop. • Performs production preparation work related to the input of new models. • Oversee, inspect and manage new model project progress. • Analyze production data and quality data at the beginning of production, improve the issue, stabilize, and document. • Review purchase specifications for production of new vehicle equipment and installation. (Including transportation/customs clearance) HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE • Bachelor's degree (Engineering majors preferred) or related work experience. • Experience using Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications. • Extensive knowledge and experience in data analysis and developing proposals. • Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require company-approved sponsorship for this position now or in the future. • Follow the training policies or procedures of HMGMA. • Build and maintain a good rapport with other manufacturing units for effective communication. • Cooperate in strengthening organizational power through communication and active exchanges among employees • 2+ years of job-related experience. • Job experience related to the automotive industry. Travel Requirement • Domestic / International travel required. Physical Demands While in Office: This position is primarily sedentary and requires working at a desk and computer for extended periods.
