Process Engineer Crumlin | Reporting to the Site Manager Purpose of the Job We are looking for a motivated Process Engineer to optimise, control and continuously improve manufacturing processes at our Crumlin site. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will keep our processes capable, stable and performing well – working closely with operations, engineering and quality teams to deliver safe, efficient and reliable production. It is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems at source and turning analysis into real improvement on the line. Key Responsibilities Maintain process control and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. Define SOPs, process parameters and control systems in line with product, capability and quality requirements. Use root cause analysis (RCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA) and SPC to reduce complaints, non-conformances and process variation. Reduce waste, scrap and rework, and improve process stability and equipment efficiency. Lead technical improvement projects from concept to implementation, with proper change control. Support the commissioning and qualification of new equipment, and train colleagues on new processes. Actively contribute to the site’s Safety Culture. What You’ll Need Essential Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Process Engineering or a related discipline. 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or process engineering environment. Proven process optimisation and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement. Sound statistical knowledge applied in production. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one.
