Job Description General Develop team through coaching and generating ideas with the Manager and colleagues. Ensure the quality of work issued is high and conforms to RP&IT and Group procedures. Participate proactively in the management of the team. Consolidate Group experience in discipline. Promote experience and good practice throughout the TechnipFMC Group. Be conversant with the latest industry developments. Ability to deal easily and effectively with a wide range of audiences. Consistently shows the ability to encourage others to develop new skills and enhance existing skills through the use of listening, understanding, coaching and feedback. Project Support Be capable of applying geotechnical principles to the full range of offshore geotechnical engineering problems faced by the TechnipFMC Group. Provide the main link between project management teams and RP&IT. Liaise with project management teams to identify the motives for any given work request, ensure the scope of work agreed is suitable and that the task is completed within the agreed timeframe. The ability to constantly achieve results within defined timeframes. The drive to do things better and compete against a standard of excellence. The ability to develop and put forward new and better ways of doing things. It includes challenging established ways of doing things by suggesting better alternatives. Job Purpose A One Geotech Senior Engineer is a key member of the team, seeking to use their considerable technical and professional experience to deliver optimum solutions for both project support and R&D activities. In doing so a Senior Engineer shall simultaneously develop their knowledge and that of the team. You are meant for this job if: Master’s degree in a geotechnical engineering specialty, plus at least 6 years of (preferably offshore) geotechnical engineering experience. PhD is preferrable. Candidate should have project experience in laboratory testing, geotechnical data interpretation, shallow and deep foundation (suction pile ) design, and geotechnical surveys. Experience in geophysical surveys is considered a plus. Proficient in state-of-practice geotechnical/foundation design software including finite element packages. Candidate should be familiar with industry codes and standards such as API-RP-2A, API-2GEO, API-RP-2SK, ISO 19901-4, DNV-RP-E303, DNV 30.4. Plaxis 3D, GRLWEAP OPTUM Be capable of applying geotechnical principles to the full range of offshore geotechnical engineering problems faced by the TechnipFMC Group. Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to interface with clients, vendors, manufacturers, inspectors, and design engineers. Be familiar with pipe-soil interaction analysis for offshore pipelines and risers Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Good command of English Skills Active Listening Analysis and Problem Solving Analytical Skills Coding/Python Cost Management
