What You’ll Be Doing As a continuously growing company, Danfoss is seeking a motivated Senior Process Project Engineer to join our Process Team. In this role, you will primarily lead production line upgrade and transformation projects, driving improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Cost (SQDPC). Additionally, you will support daily process engineering activities to ensure stable and efficient manufacturing operations for our sensor products. NPI & Process Planning: Act as the process owner for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. Lead overall manufacturing planning, Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews, and pilot run tracking. Quality Control & Technical Troubleshooting: Lead internal quality enhancement initiatives and drive process capability upgrades on the production line. Actively participate in daily troubleshooting to resolve critical manufacturing bottlenecks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers to address field issues using methodologies such as Six Sigma and FMEA. Line Upgrade & Cost Optimization: Lead production line technical improvement projects and drive cost-down strategies through product design, material optimization, and regionalization/localization. Champion continuous improvement initiatives by implementing new processes and equipment to maximize overall productivity, and expand manufacturing capacity. Process Documentation & Standardization: Develop, review, and maintain process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Establish process standards and quotas to ensure manufacturing operations are well-regulated and compliant What We're Looking For • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering and Automation, Polymer Materials and Engineering, or related majors. • 10+ years of experience in Electrical and electronics manufacturing. • Over 3 years of proven project management experience with a strong track record of delivering engineering projects on time and within budget. Leverage formal methodologies and Agile approaches (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to manage dynamic tasks, and successfully lead virtual, cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective communication. • Familiarity with manufacturing digitalization tools, including MES (Manufacturing Execution System), IoT concepts, and data visualization tools like Power BI. • Solid understanding of the IATF 16949 quality management system and its application in manufacturing processes. • Highly proactive and goal-oriented, possessing a strong sense of urgency to drive results in a fast-paced environment. Equipped with excellent communication skills to effectively align stakeholders, and underpinned by a growth mindset that embraces challenges and continuous learning. • Excellent English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, enabling seamless collaboration with global stakeholders.
