Bring your Level III Radiography expertise to a role where precision, leadership, and sound judgment directly impact mission-critical quality. American Ordnance is seeking an experienced Radiography/NDT Supervisor to lead X-ray inspection operations, guide and develop radiography professionals, and ensure the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and product acceptance. You’ll oversee day-to-day X-ray operations, maintain critical training and compliance programs, and help ensure the ordnance and materials we produce meet demanding technical and customer requirements. If you have 5+ years of Level III Radiographer experience and are ready to take your technical expertise into a leadership role where every detail matters, you’ll have a purpose here. As the X-Ray Supervisor here's the work you'll do: Supervises X-ray staff, plans work schedules, oversees X-ray system operations per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Makes decisions regarding product acceptance. Assures radiation survey and eye test programs, Technicians training and related records are current. Monitors radiographer staff performance, documents records, ensures reader accuracy is maintained at a very high level. This role is for you if you have these skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, technical specifications and procedures, government regulations. Ability to schedule work. Ability to write business correspondence and reports. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, present information and respond to questions from direct reports, managers, and customers. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as basic algebra, formulas, arithmetic, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions that apply to practical situations. Ability to use 8 Step problem solving method solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited knowledge exists. Ability to interpret and apply a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to assess and develop talent and work effectively in a team environment. And if you have these qualifications: Associate’s Degree (AA) in a technical field, physics or engineering Preferred OR Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a technical field, physics or engineering Preferred 5+ years 5 years as Level III Radiographer Required Experience in project testing and system qualification Preferred Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, which includes the gold or black star in the upper corner, indicating it is federally compliant OR Current Passport. A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with team members is essential for contributing to a cohesive work environment. Successful completion of a background screening process is mandated for all candidates. In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $61,680 - $92,520 annually .
