Competitive hourly wage of $19.50/hr Part-time opportunities - 4 hours Shift ONLY (Sun: 2100-0100hrs, Tues: 2315-0315hrs, Thurs:0500-0900, 2315-0315hrs, Fri: 1700-2100hrs) Flexible schedules with various shifts available Career growth opportunities within GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Ongoing training and continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Location: Airprot - Mississauga, ON L5P 1B2 Responsibilities for Airport Security Guard Conduct access control and baggage inspections to ensure safety Perform aircraft searches and monitor catering areas, including observing and sealing catering equipment Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity in real time Respond promptly to incidents or potential threats Conduct regular foot patrols both indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather conditions Document observations and incidents in detailed reports Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies Qualifications for Airport Security Guard Authorized to work in Canada Valid Ontario Security License – Required Standard First Aid Level C Certification – Required Strong observation and communication skills Excellent report writing skills Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert throughout your shift Access to a personal vehicle - Asset This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization Why Join Us?
