Then apply now for the following opening! Your tasks Rotate through assigned production business units to gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes, plant layout, and assembly operations. Support the Industrial Engineering team with time studies, cycle time analysis, and line balancing to support process planning and capacity requirements. Assist with the development and maintenance of process flow diagrams, P-FMEA documentation, and manufacturing layouts. Support updates to work instructions to ensure documentation reflects current production processes, engineering changes, and BPS requirements. Participate in trial builds and support PPAP/ISIR activities for new and existing production programs. Support ergonomics assessments and job-safety analyses across assigned production areas while following applicable safety and OSHA requirements. Assist with skill matrix tracking and the maintenance and auditing of production operator training records. Compile and analyze production, quality, and attendance data to support reporting and continuous improvement activities. Work alongside Industrial Engineering Coordinators and Team Leads and participate in cross-functional production meetings to develop a broad understanding of plant operations. Support additional production and Industrial Engineering projects as assigned. Your Profile Currently enrolled as a Freshman or Sophomore pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field. No prior professional experience required; previous exposure to manufacturing or production environments is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in manufacturing and continuous improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Willingness and ability to learn engineering and business systems such as AutoCAD, SAP, and MFG/PRO. Basic understanding of manufacturing and production concepts preferred. Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across production and engineering teams. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
