Job Title: Area Sales Executive – MTO Location: Bangalore Business Unit: Yale Retail Reporting To: Key Accounts Manager Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Executive to drive Modern Trade Retail sales growth and strengthen Yale's market presence across South Based out in Bangalore / Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Modern Trade sales, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to execute sales plans effectively while ensuring superior in-store visibility and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within the assigned territory. Manage / support the team of new and existing promoters to ensure excellent in-store execution and productivity. Develop strong relationships with retail partners and key store personnel. Ensure product availability, merchandising, pricing, and brand visibility across all assigned outlets. Identify new retail partners (electronics stores) and onboard to expand market coverage. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with HO & store buying team to ensure timely replenishment. Conduct regular market visits to track competition, pricing, and promotional activities. Execute company sales and marketing initiatives to maximize business opportunities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, market feedback, and expense statements. Resolve MTO concerns promptly while maintaining high service standards. Coordinate with the Key Accounts Manager and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Skills & Competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good negotiation and relationship management abilities. Target-driven with a proactive and customer-focused approach. Ability to work independently and manage territory efficiently. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Qualifications & Experience: Graduate in any discipline. 3–5 years of experience in Modern Trade Sales (consumer durables/electronics preferred). Experience in EBO channel sales and MTO management will be an added advantage. Fluency in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada & Malayalam Willingness to travel extensively within Bangalore and nearby markets.
