You will help meet customer expectations and delivery schedules and support the achievement of business objectives. Your Impact · Ensuring safe, efficient, and “right-first-time” production · Optimizing process performance and reducing production costs · Successfully implementing new processes and technologies · Contributing to profit targets and customer satisfaction Your Responsibilities 1. Optimizing existing processes · Improving process performance through strict monitoring of process parameters (trending, analysis, statistics, and reporting) and implementing cost-reducing optimizations · Performing technical optimizations during process monitoring · Tracking deviations, including organizing and conducting root cause analyses, updating documentation, and supporting CAPA implementation · Conducting feasibility studies, impact analyses, and documentation for process changes 2. Supporting the introduction of new processes · Organizing the technology transfer to production · Organizing and participating in risk analyses, such as process safety and environmental risk assessments · Reviewing Master Batch Records (MBR) and, where applicable, process validations and homogeneity studies · Assisting customers during process witnessing in production · Analyzing and reviewing production campaigns and associated data 3. Process Expertise · Building in-depth knowledge of FCB/TFX processes and equipment · Staying up to date with state-of-the-art technologies within FCB/TFX 4. Collaboration and Execution · Building and maintaining strong collaboration with internal stakeholders · Ensuring efficient team interaction and project progress · You will primarily work at the Balen site, with occasional short trips to Mont-Saint-Guibert (TFX R&D), Valencia/Montaverner (Agro), and Wetteren (LIZ project or new ASSO processes) as part of collaborations or projects. Profile · Master’s degree in Chemistry, (Bio)Engineering, or equivalent · Strong interest in and knowledge of industrial chemical processes, risk analysis, and process validation · Analytical and solution-oriented, with a proactive and results-driven “first time right” mindset · Fluent in Dutch and English · A team player who collaborates effectively with various stakeholders. Experience leading project meetings is a plus. · Well-organized, strong at planning, and able to perform under pressure

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
