BDM with KAM Responsibilities | Radiology Solutions | North East England (ideally Leeds area) 🚀 Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building business, challenging conventional thinking, and creating growth opportunities? Agfa Radiology Solutions is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Sales and Business Development Manager to take ownership of a high-potential territory across the North East of England . This is not a role for someone who simply manages existing business. We are seeking an individual who is energised by prospecting, uncovering opportunities, building relationships, and developing a territory with significant growth potential. You'll spend approximately 80% of your time generating new business opportunities and developing a robust sales pipeline , with the remaining 20% focused on growing and strengthening existing customer relationships . What You'll Be Doing ✅ Driving growth of Agfa's innovative Digital Radiology portfolio across the North East. ✅ Building deep relationships with key stakeholders across NHS and private healthcare providers. ✅ Mapping customer organisations to identify decision-makers, influencers, and new opportunities. ✅ Developing strategic account plans to increase market penetration and customer intimacy. ✅ Leading commercially focused conversations that challenge existing thinking and deliver value-based solutions. ✅ Creating and maintaining a healthy pipeline that consistently delivers against territory objectives. What We're Looking For We're interested in speaking with individuals who: Have a proven track record in sales, business development, or account management within healthcare, medical technology, imaging, diagnostics, or a related capital equipment environment. Ideally bring experience from the medical imaging, radiology, healthcare technology, or diagnostic imaging sector , with an understanding of NHS procurement processes and complex healthcare sales cycles. Have a demonstrable track record of successfully selling capital equipment and high-value solutions , including managing long and complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders. Enjoy developing business, identifying opportunities, and opening new accounts. Excel at stakeholder mapping and navigating complex customer environments. Bring a challenger mindset and are comfortable leading impactful, value-based customer conversations. Are naturally curious, proactive, and highly self-motivated. Are resilient, energetic, and passionate about delivering results. Are based within or close to Leeds, ideally with strong local market knowledge and a desire to become deeply embedded within the territory. Whilst candidates from a medical imaging or radiology background would be particularly welcomed, we are equally keen to hear from high-performing sales professionals with a successful track record of selling capital equipment into healthcare environments who are looking to expand their careers into the imaging sector. The successful candidate will become part of an experienced and successful UK & Ireland team, working with market-leading technology that is helping transform radiology services and patient care. You will have the opportunity to: Own and shape a growth territory. Work with innovative healthcare technology solutions. Collaborate with a highly experienced and supportive team. Build long-term customer partnerships. Accelerate your career within a global healthcare technology organisation. If you're looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact, build a territory, challenge the status quo, and help drive the next phase of growth for Agfa Radiology Solutions, we'd love to hear from you. #agfaradiologysolutions #xrayexperts #oneimageisallittakes #seethroughtothefuture

WorkMundi's database shows 74,689 open sales positions globally. India leads with 17,483 jobs, followed by the US with 13,876. If you're open to geography, you have real options — but the sheer number means you need a filter. Don't apply to everything. Pick a country, a company size, and a sales model that matches what you actually want to do.
Almost 8 in 10 of these ads have their text written in English. That's useful for reading the job description and understanding what you're signing up for. But it tells you nothing about whether the role requires you to speak English with customers, partners, or your team. Ask the hiring manager directly during your first conversation.
The employers posting the most are boxlunch, SIMPLE RECRUIT, FlexBoard, and tmobile. If you see their name on a listing, you know they're actively hiring. That can work in your favor — high-volume recruiters often move faster. But volume also means competition. Your application needs to stand out.
Sales interviews almost always include a version of this: 'Tell me about a time you lost a deal. What did you learn?' Prepare a real story where you take ownership of what went wrong and what you'd do differently. Hiring managers want to see you learn, not just win.
