Position Title - Component Engineer About Advanced Energy Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. Position Summary: The Component Engineer will function as Supplier PCN Coordinator who will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of Product Change Notifications (PCNs) from external suppliers. This role ensures that all supplier‑initiated changes are properly evaluated, communicated, and executed in alignment with internal engineering, purchasing, and inventory requirements. Responsibilities: PCN Compliance & Documentation Manage end‑to‑end supplier PCN compliance, including timely acknowledgement, validating completeness of submitted information, classifying PCNs, and ensuring suppliers provide required data before internal review. Cross‑Functional Coordination Work closely with suppliers and internal functions to confirm affected part numbers, generate where‑used analyses, and coordinate Component Engineering reviews and dispositions to ensure all technical impacts are addressed. PCN Workflow Management Oversee the PCN process from receipt through closure, ensuring all information is accurate, complete, and aligned with established procedures before endorsing to reviewing and approving departments. Last‑Time‑Buy & EOL Support Collaborate with Purchasing to advise on last‑time‑buy (LTB) requirements, ensure suppliers wait for official LTB guidance, and notify Inventory Management of approved EOL‑related PCNs. Reporting & Communication Prepare customer‑specific PCN reports as needed and ensure consistent, clear communication across all stakeholders throughout the PCN lifecycle. Qualifications: Degree in BS Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines. At least 5 years relevant experience in PCN Coordination, Component Engineering or Supplier Quality Management Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, Automation process and AI is a plus Basic component knowledge on Electronic components and electromechanical Self-motivated, strong analytical and problem solving skills A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques Candidate with good experience will also be considered as senior position As part of our total rewards philosophy, we believe in offering and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits programs for our employees in order to attract and retain a talented, highly engaged workforce.
