The Sales Manager is responsible for further developing, managing, and being responsible for selling ANDRITZ portfolio in the North West African region with the main task to drive the business to a profitable growth track. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive the commercial growth of the ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel (EFB) business (plant solutions, equipment, services) within the assigned region. Develop, propose, and implement strategic plans to optimize EFB sales and profitability within the region. Develop and manage both existing and new channel/agent networks across the region, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive sales and service offerings. Achieve and exceed established targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Cultivate and strengthen relationships with potential customers and key accounts within the region. Serve as the primary liaison between the head office, product development teams, and the local market office within the region. Promote and represent all EFB products and services within the assigned region. Develop quotations, lead negotiations, and secure contracts in alignment with EFB’s pricing policies and approval procedures. Track, analyze, and report market opportunities and sales activities using ANDRITZ CRM and through monthly reports. Support and ensure successful project execution and seamless order transfer, providing all necessary technical and commercial information. Participate in relevant industry events and conferences to foster business development and stay informed on industry trends, identifying potential opportunities for new business. Expand market share across key applications (Animal Feed, Aqua & Pet Food, Biomass) while enhancing the ANDRITZ brand presence in the region. Foster knowledge sharing and promote a structured sales approach within the region. Demonstrate strong leadership by establishing clear expectations and developing the skills and competencies of sales and service team members. Willing and able to travel around 70% of the time, both nationally and internationally. Embody and promote the principles of #1ANDRITZWay and SIP, serving as a role model for the team and the broader organization. TECHNICAL SKILLS (knowledge) Sales & Marketing principles Customer Experience Principles Machinery/engineering skills Feed equipment know how Markets knowledge: Animal Feed, Pet Food, Extrusion, Biomass, Waste Experience in market, customer and competitor mapping and development Track record and proven background in business development and sales of equipment Sales experience and knowledge of the target region market Experience in using CRM and other sales tools Technology skills (ANDRITZ IT and IoT Tools) Language skills : English and French fluency (must have) Arabic and other languages (good to have) POSITION Strong Negotiation skills Ability to execute on strategies Systematic work approach, dynamic with assertiveness Reliable with high ethics Communication: Effective verbal, presentation and listening skills Entrepreneurship spirit Capability to establish strong relationships with all stakeholders, especially with customers Track record and proven background in business development and sales of equipment, process lines, aftermarket products and services. Leadership and People management SCHOOL EDUCATION Minimum Bachelor/Master’s degree in a relevant technical area (Engineering) combined with strong sales experience and customer orientation. Good to have MBI or Master in Business Administration and/or Marketing EXPERIENCE Experiencie Proven experience in service and technical sales of capital equipment and projects to key target industries, including animal and aqua feed producers, pet food manufacturers, oilseed processing companies, sugar mills, and ethanol producers. A strong background in biomass, particularly within the biofuels and waste/recycling sectors, is considered an additional asset.
