POWER2X –P&ID COMOS Engineer (M/F/D) Location: West and East of Slovakia Are you ready to make a global impact in the fight against climate change? ANDRITZ is seeking a dynamic Process P&ID Engineer to support our entry into the Power-to-X market. In this role you will be responsible for implementing process concepts for our green hydrogen and renewable fuel solutions. We are looking for a professional with wealthy experience in P&ID engineering. Your deep understanding of designing plant solutions will play a crucial role in the success of our projects. In your role, you will Prepare and manage piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) over the full project lifecycle Support the modularization and standardization of the engineering process and the design solutions. Prepare and manage equipment and component lists Reviewing and integrate PID’s of package units Take the responsibility to coordinate with all stakeholders Supporting the selection process of the process equipment Align and jointly review the layout and piping engineering results Support the function description preparation. In your personal skill set, you have Degree level qualification in a process or mechanical engineering discipline. Minimum two years of experience as P&ID engineer, experience within the petrochemical industry is a plus. Knowledge about P&ID CAE program COMOS is a must. Knowledge about ISO/EN standard, additional knowledge about US standards is a plus. Strong communication, analytical and planning skills Solution/team/customer oriented with the confidence to act pro-actively Fluent in English. Another European language is an advantage We also value Customer focused and open personality with ownership for performance and shared commitment. High-performance mindset with the capability to operate effectively under tight deadlines. Ability to communicate, cooperate and interact comfortably across cultures. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
