We are looking for a Sales Support & Proposal Engineer to join our EMEA team and support the automation and digitalization business in the tissue, pulp and paper industry. The role involves analyzing RFQs/RFPs, preparing technical and commercial offers, and coordinating closely with sales and product management across EMEA and beyond. Ideal candidates bring a technical background, strong attention to detail, and experience with CRM tools like SAP, Salesforce or similar applications. This position offers the opportunity to work in an international environment and contribute to strategic sales success from the back office. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze RFQs/RFPs and customer inquiries for automation and digital solutions in the pulp and paper industry in cooperation with engineering and product management Develop compelling technical and commercial quotations in close cooperation with product management, engineering, and sales managers Coordinate with Regional Teams & the Sales Director to define optimal customer-specific proposals and ensure alignment with strategic goals Ensure data quality and consistency within CRM, the proposal management tools (SAP, ANDRITZ Sales Platform, etc.) and marketing material Track proposal status, manage documentation, and follow up on deadlines and submissions Support in cost estimation, pricing logic, commercial review processes Participate in forecasting, internal reviews and feedback loops to continuously improve proposal quality and effectiveness TECHNICAL SKILLS (knowledge) Sales, Service and Marketing principles. Excellent MS Office skills, and experience in using CRM tools Customer Experience principles. Automation and digitalization principles Strong supportive mentality, team player and solution-oriented mindset to ensure business success Strong communication and internal networking skills Language skills English (must have).
