Responsibilities Responsible for disassembly, inspecting, repairing and reassembling equipment on customer rolls. Read and understand process sheet and paperwork to determine specifications. Disassembles and repairs necessary parts on customer equipment using appropriate tools. This may include drilling, tapping, using a torch, cleaning and removing bearings and cleaning parts. Reassembles equipment to customer specifications. Maintains a clean work area. Conforms to safety and inspection requirements. Complete daily paperwork. Qualifications/Education High school diploma or equivalent. 3 years experience helpful, will train qualified candidate Ability to read and use tape measures, calipers and micrometers, including metric measurements. Good mechanical aptitude and mechanical experience with good working knowledge and experience with powered hand tools. Knowledge of hydraulics helpful. Experience using lift trucks and overhead cranes desired. Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs. and work up to 12 hour shift on concrete floor. Ability to train for operation of all machines.
