General Information This position supports the Lean team in daily activities and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within production operations.The role is divided into: General Tasks (50%) Main Project (50%) Your Responsibilities: General Tasks (50%) Support the Lean team in day-to-day activitiesPerform 5S audits following standardsUpdate or create Work Instructions Participate in and/or conduct Lean activities such as:JishukensTime StudiesGemba WalksCollect current CT for all ENC production lines to improve output Required Training Lean FundamentalsVSA / VSM Main Project (50%) Scrap/Rework Improvement Plan – Alamo Final AssemblyData collection and analysisDevelopment of improvement planValue Stream Analysis and Mapping – FF1 Ford ECUCo-lead the VSM analysis of the FF1 Ford ECU productPerform all time studies required for the VSMDocument the VSM, including all actionsCo-lead the follow-up of all actions identified during the VSM Your Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentMust be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semesterIntermediate Knowledge of LEAN practices Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills Ability to develop and evaluate standards and procedures Microsoft Office experience preferredMicrosoft Power BI, Automate, and related software preferred Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the company Working schedule: M-F flexible hours between 7am-6pm and 25 minimum total working hours per week As a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
