Job Summary: Vail Resorts is looking to hire a Senior Manager of Enterprise Pricing and Analytics, specifically focused on analytics driving cross-functional, enterprise insights. As the Senior Manager of Enterprise Pricing and Analytics you will own the analysis, insights, and strategy for key initiatives and special projects across Vail Resorts, as well as enterprise pricing strategy. As part of the Enterprise Analytics organization, you will bring a strategic product and pricing lens to all facets of the business, generating insights and unlocking value. This individual should have a proven track record as a high potential talent demonstrating a well-rounded toolkit, including leadership, drive, business acumen, strategic thinking, and technical analytics skills. This is a highly visible analytical role in which cross-functional relationship building and stakeholder management will be a key component of success. [Analysis & Reporting] Manage the creation, development, and distribution of standardized reporting related to pricing, including price/mix analysis, benchmarking, portfolio analysis, profitability, macroeconomic trends and competitive intelligence. [Tool & Technique Optimization] Continuously develop professionally and operationally, refining research methodologies, tools, and processes to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and relevance of insights delivered [Cross-Functional Collaboration] Work closely with various teams to align research outcomes with strategic initiatives [Upward & Peer Management] Proactively update manager regarding own work, be willing to receive and provide team feedback, and demonstrate ability to review and enhance the work of others Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Math, Analytics, or a related field Very strong quantitative and analytic skills with demonstrated success in analytical or financial roles Proven experience communicating actionable recommendations and insights based upon data-driven insights to business stakeholders. 4-5 years previous experience in pricing, consulting, analytics, data science, investment banking, FP&A, or a similar field. Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication, adjusting message to audience. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Strong project management skills are essential. Must be able to own and drive multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate cross-functionally within the organization. Demonstrated success working with large data sets Advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred: Masters or MBA in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business, with a focus on quantitative analysis. Experience with analytic tools/software such as Tableau, Alteryx, and similar programs; experience with data processing (SQL) also a plus. Previous work experience within an entrepreneurial environment including creation, ownership, and follow through of a multi-year project.
