Senior Steel Process Engineer We are looking for a qualified professional willing to be part of our Melt Shops Team, focusing on Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) and Ladle Furnace (LF), with a strong passion for technology and motivation to work within a multicultural and challenging environment. You will work in an international Company characterized by high technology complexity. In this role, you will actively contribute to project process decisions, support the technical office in identifying optimal engineering solutions for final delivery, and continuously improve workflows to enhance value, reduce costs, and simplify operations. Key Responsibilities: EAF/LF cold testing, commissioning, start up and performances test; Customers follow up: Training, Standard Operation Practices and Tuning of the Process parameters; Define the technical choices concerning the process to reach the quality/cost level compatible with project requirements; Conduct inspections and assessments of plant and equipment; Prepare the process specifications and the most appropriate sizing of the system components; Manage the technical documentation of the process, revising and commenting the offers and suppliers documents; Take an active role in process innovation by seeking new technologies and development of existing applications; Maintain, review and improve industry standards, systems, procedures and best practices; Provide process engineering input to marketing and proposals, in order to give technical assistance to support Business Development Strategies; Provide process information, such as basic design calculations, process-engineering input. What we ask for Master’s Degree in Engineering; Experience in Steel Industry; Process Metallurgy Knowledge; Ability to communicate with customers from plant operators to general managers; Ability to organize and manage site activities; Ability to understand piping and instrumentations diagrams; Knowledge of engineering calculations techniques; Competence in using simulation software and others methodologies; Willingness to team working; Effective knowledge of English language; Willingness to travel for short/medium period; What we offer The opportunity to contribute to Upstream&TAT - EAF activities with a direct impact on business performance A dynamic and international environment where ideas are valued and innovation is encouraged Continuous learning opportunities through training, exposure to new technologies and cross-functional collaboration.
