Job Overview The Senior Manufacturing & Process Engineer is responsible for designing, controlling, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality requirements. This role supports operational excellence by driving process stability, continuous improvement initiatives, productivity gains, and cost reduction efforts through technical solutions and cross-functional collaboration. The position serves as a key technical resource for Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams, ensuring efficient and reliable manufacturing operations while supporting new product introductions and process enhancements. . What your background should look like Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, or a related field. Certifications or specialized training in Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement are preferred. 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering. Proven experience in process optimization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Manufacturing processes and process optimization techniques. Root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies. Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process Capability Analysis (Cp/Cpk). Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools. Project management and implementation of process improvements. Process validation, documentation, and change management. Cost reduction and process efficiency improvement methodologies. Risk assessment and mitigation within manufacturing processes. Data analysis and evidence-based decision-making. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Collaborative team-oriented mindset. Results-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement. Technical leadership and ability to train and mentor operational personnel. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Responsibilities Process Control & Operational Support Monitor and control critical manufacturing process parameters to ensure compliance with product specifications. Analyze key process performance indicators, including scrap rates, cycle times, efficiency, equipment uptime, and process capability metrics. Provide technical support to Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve process-related issues. Address quality and productivity concerns through immediate corrective actions and structured problem-solving. Ensure compliance with established operating standards and process requirements. Monitor equipment and tooling performance to maintain reliability and operational efficiency. Maintain and update process documentation, records, and operational parameters. Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization Conduct statistical analyses to evaluate process capability, stability, trends, and variation. Lead continuous improvement projects focused on quality enhancement, productivity improvement, waste reduction, and cost optimization. Develop, implement, and validate technical improvements for manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and production methods. Support investment evaluations and business cases related to process improvements and new technologies. Lead root cause investigations for critical quality, safety, and productivity issues. Support customer requirements, technical inquiries, and product performance evaluations. Participate in corrective action activities resulting from customer complaints or audit findings. Support new product introductions, manufacturing transfers, and process launches. Provide technical leadership during process validations, production trials, and project startups. Coordinate evaluations of new materials, equipment, tooling, and manufacturing technologies. Participate in cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and operational initiatives. Support business continuity efforts during operational contingencies. Establish and adjust manufacturing process parameters. Implement and validate technical process improvements.
