Job Overview Overview We are looking for a channel sales manager who has extensive experience and capability to grow our business higher than market growth rate. This position will be located at our sales office in Beijing or Shanghai, China and will report to the Sr. channel sales manager ~ APAC. Responsibilities: 1. Drive a sales of TE Connectivity Digital Data Network products into customers in North & Centre & West China 2. Align regional strategy with Channel Business Unit and TE distributors. 3. Set annual sales target reflecting the Business Unit direction, breakdown into quarterly and half-yearly. Execute monthly and quarterly sales forecasting. Keep track monthly figures off a back of quantitative and qualitative analysis. 4. Achieve and/or exceed the regional targeted sales revenue. Grow product groups share as well as customer in-house share. 5. Manage delivery to fulfil customers demand. Co-work with supply chain team, engineering team, product team, CBU team and distributor team. 6. Manage key customers both OEMs and Tier One / Tier Two in the region. Ensure customer relationships well maintained. 7. Expand customer base. 8. Identify new business opportunities, continue to grow pipelines aligned with Business Unit direction, in terms of product strategy and product portfolio. 9. Understand customer requirements and propose existing lines or create new products that best suit to customers, from technical, cost, volume and time-line aspect. 10. Manage pricing. Conduct price analysis across all product-lines within the region looking at market competition, by customers and applications segmentation. What your background should look like: Qualifications • Bachelor degree in Engineering, or Marketing or Business Management; Advanced degree preferred. • Over 15~20 years of (sales experience, product management or field application experience) with strong technical background. Indirect sales experience preferred. • Understand well distributor business model. • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the electronic device field. DATACOM / Networks/ Industrial knowledge preferred. • Working experience at global companies, or dealt experience with global companies. • Relevant fundamentals in sales profession, in value-added selling strategy setting and execution. • Experience in professional sales management with proven success in strategic sales planning and account management. • Business experience with global and local customers. Ability to sell at multiple levels within a customer. • Proven track record in the capability of Regional technical Sales engineer within a global organization. • Sufficient skills and using experience of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint…etc • Excellent communicator both written and orally. • Must in fluent English communication, with reading, writing, speaking and hearing Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork
