Job Overview Supports quality assurance activities within manufacturing, focusing on real-time defect prevention and problem resolution. Job Requirements The MQ Engineer is responsible for driving quality excellence across incoming materials, in‑process activities, customer complaint handling, and continuous improvement. The role leads scrap‑reduction initiatives, develops quality engineering documents, ensures quality system alignment with global standards, and supports audits and cross‑functional teams to achieve robust product performance and customer satisfaction. Job Requirements Education & Experience Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Minimum 3 years of quality-related experience in the electronics industry. At least 1 year of SMT experience preferred. Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred; strong DOE, GR&R and data analysis skills. Technical Skills Knowledge of cable assembly processes: terminal/IDC crimping, soldering, electrical testing, signal integrity. Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC620, IPC610). Experience handling customer complaints, corrective actions, and risk assessment. Ability to lead process improvement using DMAIC methodology. Soft Skills Strong communication, accountability, and problem‑solving mindset. Ability to influence cross‑functional teams. Able to work under pressure. Good English (reading, writing, speaking). What your background should look like Hands‑on exposure to electronics manufacturing quality engineering. Capability to analyze material, in‑process, and customer quality issues. Proven experience in scrap reduction and mistake‑proofing solutions. Skilled in creating WI/QIP/inspection criteria and supporting audits.
