The Role Prospecting and qualification of new construction La Quinta, Hawthorn Suites, ECHO Suites, Microtel and conversions for La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites in California. Negotiation of deal terms and Property Improvement Plans. Execution of hotel franchise agreements. Relationship management and attendance at industry events. Submittal of Forecasts and general reporting. What you'll do Prospecting and Qualifying Deals. Networking/Industry Event Attendance. Negotiate Terms and Execution of Contracts. Manage Relationships. Forecasting/Reporting. Assisting other members of development team on special projects. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of major purchase/sale transactions, activities of debt and equity, providers and other hospitality related trends within the US. You'll be successful if you have Extensive sales experience. Hotel franchise development experience. Proven achievement in sales by exceeding quotas. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships. Effective presentation skills. Hotel conversion experience. Aptitude to evaluate pro-forma and feasibility studies for conversion projects. Excellent judgement in evaluating opportunities for the company. A desire to travel. Required Qualifications/Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred. A valid Drive’s License. Must have demonstrated proven achievement in sales by exceeding quota. Required to travel approximately 80% of time (4 out of 5 days per week).
