About the role: As a BIM Engineer, you will participate in the Building Information Modeling methodology. This methodology ensures that all project information is accessible, and shared across departments. It improves coordination, traceability, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time job. You will report to the Waste Characterization and Disposal Manager and be located at our HQ in San Sebastián de los Reyes. This is a hybrid position. Main Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of BIM methodology in an ongoing engineering project. Ensure the continuity of the BIM methodology in the project. Lead the implementation and maintenance of BIM methodology in multiple engineering projects within the company. Prepare the report on the proposal for applying the BIM methodology to the project, which will include a BIM Execution Plan, covering its initial version and subsequent revisions. Manage the proper implementation and use of the BIM methodology. Ensure the digital quality of the content structure. Ensure the correct linking between data and models. Coordinate all activities related to the development and update of the project's information model. Support the work of all project disciplines under the BIM methodology, ensuring compliance with the BIM Execution Plan. Develop the BIM training plan for personnel, ensuring implementation and monitoring of the training program.· Support to our client's site. Participation in international teams. Qualifications: A specialized Master's degree in BIM. BIM Engineer with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture. 1+ years of experience implementing BIM methodology in projects. 1+ years of experience with design tools such as Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks. We will consider knowledge of Dynamo programming. Fluency in Spanish: must speak and write Spanish perfectly. Fluent in English with reporting skills. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
