Job Summary Join SuperATV as a CNC Mill and Lathe Programmer/Operator, where your skills will directly contribute to delivering race-tested, innovative products and exceptional customer service in the off-roading industry. Be part of a dynamic team focused on growth, quality, and continuous improvement. Primary Duties As a CNC Mill and Lathe Programmer/Operator at SuperATV, you will: Develop and execute CNC programs for 2, 3, and 5-axis milling machines and lathes using software including Mastercam and SolidWorks, ensuring all production meets precise drawing specifications. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC machinery such as Haas mills, Okuma mills, Nakamura lathes, and Haas lathes, maintaining machine efficiency and minimizing downtime. Utilize precision measuring tools and inspection protocols to guarantee product quality, identifying and resolving issues early in the production process. Analyze engineering drawings to select appropriate cutting tools, determine machine speeds, and adjust feed rates for optimal manufacturing performance. Manage and organize CNC program libraries to prevent duplication and maintain version control, while updating existing programs to accommodate process improvements. Maintain a comprehensive tooling database, collaborate with tooling suppliers to identify innovative tooling solutions, and implement improvements to manufacturing processes. Train and guide operators on new part runs, instilling best practices for safety, quality, and efficiency in the shop. Design and develop new fixturing solutions and streamline manufacturing methods to boost productivity and reduce waste. Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively across departments to support production goals. Qualifications The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to their work. Essential qualifications include: Comprehensive understanding of CNC programming for 3 and 5-axis mills and lathe operations. Experienced in tooling selection, setup, and adjustment to support diverse manufacturing needs. Adept at interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings to deliver high-quality finished products. Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently, with strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges. Comfortable mentoring and training team members to uphold manufacturing standards and safety. Strong commitment to quality assurance and process optimization. Preferred candidates will have hands-on experience with equipment brands such as Haas, Okuma, and Nakamura, alongside proficiency in Mastercam software. Education / Experience Successful applicants will possess CNC operation experience coupled with the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Completion of a technical program or associate degree in a relevant field is advantageous. Prior experience programming Haas, Okuma, and Nakamura machinery is favored. Demonstrated time management, multitasking, and independent working skills are critical for success in this role.
