Buyer Position Purpose: Directs activities of personnel engaged in purchasing materials, equipment and supplies in the organization. Main Responsibilities: Organizes and directs personnel engaged in purchasing materials, supplies, and services. Evaluates quotations to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service. Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high-quality products and services at competitive prices. Prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices. Dispatches and prints pack lists for outside services. Performs other duties as assigned.
