Role Summary: We’re seeking a motivated, forward‑thinking hands on Territory Sales Manager to drive growth in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan by delivering sales results, building trusted customer relationships, and shaping demand for Timken’s innovative product solutions. Key Responsibilities: Revenue, Margin and Territory Performance Accountable for delivering agreed sales revenue, gross margin, and growth objectives for the Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan territory through disciplined opportunity management, pricing discipline, and focus on priority customers, sectors, and applications. Customer Relationship and Demand Creation Own and develop strategic customer relationships at multiple organisational levels, positioning the company as a trusted technical and commercial partner, influencing specification and buying decisions, and increasing share of wallet through value‑based selling. Technical Solution Selling and Application Leadership Translate customer operating requirements and reliability challenges into engineered product, service, and project solutions, applying mechanical and application engineering knowledge to improve uptime, reduce total cost of ownership, and support complex and critical applications. Account Planning, Forecasting and Pipeline Management Develop and execute customer‑based account and territory plans, maintaining a robust opportunity pipeline and accurate sales forecast through consistent use of CRM , contribution to demand planning, and structured analysis of wins, losses, and market potential. Channel and Partner Development Build, manage, and grow an effective distributor and channel network Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred). Proven sales experience in heavy industrial markets such as mining, oil & gas, metals, cement, rail, or power generation, preferably with engineered or technical products. Prior sales experience in Uzbekistan, with a strong understanding of the local industrial market and customers. Extensive experience in working with distrbution networks and end users. Fluent in English. High-energy, self-motivated driven mindset. Valid, unendorsed driver’s license. Must be based in Almaty - or withing 30-40km radius. Must be a Kazakhstan / Uzbekistan citizen. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and rotating equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical mechanical drawings and specifications. Proficient in industrial product application and troubleshooting. CRM software proficiency (e.g., Salesforce). Familiarity with pricing models, sales forecasting, and reporting tools. Ability to conduct technical presentations and product demos. Good command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and influencing abilities. Problem-solving mindset with customer-first thinking. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to business development. Team player who can collaborate cross-functionally. Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic market environment.
