By creating intelligent and clean solutions for people and the planet JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Project Engineer – Project Manager Reports To: Head of Services - ISEA Role Type: Individual Contribution Location: Pune / Kolkata / Mumbai / Gurgaon / Bangalore Job Responsibilities This is the position of Project Engineer – Project Management as part of Large Project Management team. The position performs as bridges technical engineering and management, focusing on how things get built, working with project manager supporting on overall strategy, cost, and timelines. Key elements of this profile include technical execution, cross-team coordination, and quality control. The position will be part of ISEAM Large Project Management team and will work for the whole ISEAM country as regional role. Project Engineer – Project Management Technical oversight: Reviewing design drawings, specifications, and compliance standards. Site coordination: Linking field workers, contractors, and design teams. Process tracking: Monitoring daily progress, requests for information (RFIs), and material submittals. Problem solving: Resolving on-site design or material conflicts quickly. Communication: Translating complex data between technical teams and clients. Documentation: Managing technical logs, test reports, and schedule updates. Support Sales : Coordinate with service sales teams in ISEAM to ensure budgeting and delivery on-time. Administrative Management Project management for Projects / Large Projects following purchase order received. Handle documentation, reports, and correspondence related to service operations. Managing customer master data, including customer records, contact information Collaborate effectively with internal teams, demonstrating strong teamwork and relationship-building in alignment with SKF’s core values. Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and customer documentation as needed. Assist in internal and external audits related to operations and administration. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or related field. 5-8 years of experience in project management (preferably in manufacturing industries such as Oil and Gas, Energy, Heavy Industry) Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills. High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP or CRM systems Experience working with ServiceMax and SAP Sales & Distribution modules will be advantageous. Strong analytical and service mindset and attention to detail.
