We help the world run better At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed. What you’ll build Develop mission-critical order-to-cash execution capabilities that can run reliably on remote servers in disconnected and intermittently connected operational environments. Design and implement end-to-end SD business processes covering customer inquiries and quotations, sales orders, availability checks, picking, packing, outbound delivery, shipping, goods issue, billing, and invoicing. Build high-quality solutions using ABAP Objects, ABAP CDS, RAP, OData, SAP Fiori elements, SAPUI5, and relevant S/4HANA extensibility technologies. Adapt and enhance standard SD applications, business objects, APIs, workflows, output management, pricing, document flow, and status management for remote execution. Implement robust synchronization, data consistency, error handling, conflict resolution, and reconciliation mechanisms between central and disconnected S/4HANA systems. Deliver functionality from technical design through implementation, automated testing, release, stabilization, and production support. Improve performance, security, upgrade safety, maintainability, and operational resilience in resource-constrained remote environments. What you bring Strong hands-on expertise in ABAP Objects, modern ABAP, ABAP CDS, RAP, OData services, enhancement frameworks, APIs, and performance-oriented development. Practical experience with SAP Fiori elements, SAPUI5, annotations, draft handling, side effects, value helps, authorizations, and backend–frontend integration. Solid functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution, including sales document processing, pricing, ATP, delivery processing, picking, packing, shipping, goods issue, billing, invoicing, document flow, and output management. Experience integrating SD with Materials Management, Warehouse Management or EWM, Finance, Transportation Management, Business Partner, and product master data. Understanding of distributed-system concepts such as synchronization, transactional consistency, retries, duplicate prevention, conflict handling, and offline-capable processing. Experience with ABAP Unit, integration testing, test automation, debugging, root-cause analysis, secure development, and agile delivery. Strong ownership, analytical ability, and willingness to work across technical and functional boundaries in mission-critical customer scenarios. Where you belong You'll take end-to-end technical ownership of critical systems and contribute to engineering excellence across the team. Mentoring less-experienced engineers, guiding design and code quality, and building strong technical capabilities within the team are all part of the role. The team operates across global, cross-functional groups in a culture that values continuous improvement, operational excellence, and knowledge sharing. Skills used in this role: Learning Agility, Creative Thinking, Complex Problem Solving, Effective Communication, Collaboration, AI-Assisted Engineering, Application Security, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), High Availability Engineering, Troubleshooting (Problem Solving), Agentic AI, Day-to-Day Practice, AI Adoption Capability, AI Output Quality Assurance, Context Engineering, AI-Assisted Automation and Prototyping Bring out your best SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively. 24,795 developer jobs are open right now

Here's where they are and how to stand out in your next interview.

That number includes positions in India (9,577), Poland (3,429), the United States (1,753), Singapore (787), and Brazil (779). If you're looking to move or work remotely, check which countries match your goals — then filter WorkMundi by location to see what's actually hiring near you.

Most developer ads you'll see are written in English: 18,397 of the 24,795. That doesn't tell you whether the job itself requires you to speak English or work in English daily, so read each posting carefully. Don't assume the language of the ad matches the language of the team.

The employers posting the most developer roles are Link Group (369 jobs), Upvanta (257), jobgether (226), and OfferZen (212). If you're applying to any of these, research their hiring patterns. They move fast and post often, which means they're either scaling hard or replacing people who didn't fit.

In your interview, expect this: 'Walk me through the last time you had to debug something that took you more than an hour. What was it, what did you try first, and what would you do differently?' Hiring managers ask this to see if you think systematically or just try random fixes. Have a real example ready with specifics.
