The Director, Enterprise Data Hub is responsible for defining and executing APAC's Enterprise Data Hub strategy and roadmap, establishing a trusted, scalable, and governed data foundation that enables analytics, AI/GenAI, regulatory reporting, and enterprise-wide data consumption. Working across business, technology, governance, and global stakeholders, the role drives data onboarding, integration, quality, and standardisation to ensure enterprise data is trusted, reusable, and aligned to business and regulatory priorities. Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership Define and execute the Enterprise Data Hub strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities, regulatory requirements, and enterprise transformation objectives. Drive adoption of the Enterprise Data Hub as APAC's trusted enterprise data foundation. Establish onboarding priorities across business domains, countries, and strategic initiatives. Represent APAC in relevant global forums and contribute to the evolution of enterprise data management capabilities and standards. Data Onboarding & Integration Own enterprise standards and practices for data onboarding, integration, quality, and lifecycle management within the Enterprise Data Hub. Drive the creation of trusted, reusable enterprise data assets that improve consistency, reduce duplication, and accelerate business value delivery. Establish scalable onboarding and integration frameworks to support expansion across business domains and markets. Partner with Architecture, Engineering, and Data Governance teams to strengthen data quality, metadata, lineage, and control frameworks. Programme Delivery & Governance Lead complex cross-functional programmes spanning business, technology, governance, and external partners. Establish effective governance, executive reporting, and delivery disciplines to ensure successful outcomes. Manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment across regional and global initiatives. Ensure compliance with BCBS239, regulatory requirements, and enterprise data management standards. Stakeholder & Team Leadership Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders on Enterprise Data Hub strategy and priorities. Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Drive organisational adoption through effective stakeholder engagement, communication, and change leadership. Manage strategic vendors and partners to ensure delivery quality, capability development, and value realisation. Requirements 12+ years of experience in enterprise data, data management, data integration, or data platform leadership roles, preferably within banking or regulated financial services. Proven track record leading large-scale enterprise data transformation, Data Hub, Lakehouse, or data modernisation programmes. Strong experience managing complex, multi-country initiatives involving business, technology, governance, and external partners. Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, lineage, master data management, and regulatory requirements, including BCBS239. Strong knowledge of enterprise data architecture, integration, and data modelling principles. Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Azure Data Platform, Unity Catalog, Collibra, or equivalent technologies. Experience building and leading high-performing teams across internal, offshore, and vendor delivery models. Strategic and outcome-oriented leader with strong execution capability. Strong communicator with the ability to influence executive, business, and technical stakeholders. Proven ability to drive enterprise-wide transformation in complex, regulated environments. Collaborative leader who builds trust, develops talent, and delivers results through others.
