As a Group Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Audit & Certification Engineer, you will play a key role in safeguarding food safety, quality, and certification compliance across all Lotus Bakeries production sites worldwide. Through your expertise in food safety management systems, auditing, and certification standards, you will drive continuous improvement, support operational excellence, and strengthen the Group's Quality Management System. Lead the continuous improvement and harmonization of the Group Quality Management System (QMS) in line with GFSI standards, internal requirements, and third-party certification schemes. Translate updates in food safety, regulatory, sustainability, and certification standards into practical policies, procedures, guidance documents, and training materials. Act as the subject matter expert, providing training, support, and interpretation of quality standards to stakeholders across the organization. Manage the group approach to external certifications, including GFSI, sustainability, and religious certification schemes, and support sites during certification audits. Develop and lead the global internal audit program, conduct audits at manufacturing sites, identify improvement opportunities, and strengthen auditor capabilities worldwide. To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have: A Master's degree in Food Technology, Biochemistry, or a related field, or equivalent food industry expertise gained through experience. At least 8 years of experience in Food Safety and Quality Assurance within a food manufacturing environment. Strong expertise in food safety management systems, HACCP, food microbiology, risk management, and GFSI certification schemes such as BRCGS and IFS. Proven experience conducting internal audits and supporting external certification audits; a Lead Auditor qualification is a strong asset. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, a collaborative and analytical mindset, proficiency in English, and willingness to travel internationally.
