As an ICT Sales, Logistics & Purchasing Architect at Lotus Bakeries, you bridge strategy and execution. You operate as a domain architect with a broad, end‑to‑end view, translating business strategy into scalable IT solutions, and complement this with strong expertise that enables you to remain hands-on when needed. In your role of architect, you take the overall helicopter view over the functional domain of Sales, Logistics & Purchasing, which spans SAP SD, SAP MM & SAP IBP, as well as other software solutions in this functional area. You think in concepts and you guide the team towards sustainable, end-to-end solutions aligned with the template and the business objectives. Next to your architect role, you will work as expert or as project lead in the area of Sales, Logistics & Purchasing. As expert you work hands-on to realize and deploy new functional solutions to cover business needs. As project lead, you deliver projects within scope, time and budget. Within this functional domain, you guard the continuous update of the template & the documentation. A strong cross-domain perspective is essential, continuously assessing impacts on other functional areas and ensuring integrated, end-to-end processes (e.g. Order-to-Cash). You ensure close collaboration with key users from Lotus Bakeries sales offices & manufacturing sites across the world. You guide them on how to make the best use of standard functionality within SAP and other software solutions and you combine this with industry best practices. Do you recognize yourself in this profile? Then we look forward to meeting you! You have a Master’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in the Sales, Logistics & Purchasing IT domain within a multinational environment. You have strong knowledge of the SAP Sales & Logistics modules (SD & MM) and the integration with other SAP modules & solutions (FICO, WM, IBP, …). You combine this with a broad interest in the entire integrated application landscape, including non-SAP sales, logistics & purchasing solutions. Having participated in an SAP end-to-end roll-out and having managed specific projects in the domain of Sales, Logistics and & Purchasing is vital in this role. You think beyond your own domain and naturally take a cross-functional and global perspective. Experience with complex business topics such as pricing, VAT, intercompany flows and rebate management is an asset. We are looking for a strong communicator, able to influence stakeholders and translate complex topics into clear recommendations. You thrive in a global IT environment and are comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-changing context. Given the fact that our sales offices & manufacturing sites are around the world, you are willing to travel from time to time. Finally, you have strong communication skills and are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus .

Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore account for 642 of the open purchasing roles on WorkMundi. If you're looking in those regions, you have real volume to work with. The US has 130 open positions. Check where your target employers are hiring before you apply.

About 59% of purchasing ads are written in English on our board. That's a useful signal: it tells you which postings to prioritize if English is your working language, but it says nothing about whether the job itself requires you to speak it. Read the full job description.

When you interview for purchasing, expect to explain how you've managed a vendor relationship that went wrong. Hiring managers want to hear a concrete example: which vendor, what broke down, and what you did to fix it or end it. They're testing whether you can handle conflict without burning bridges.

The employers posting most are Private Advertiser (43 jobs), Veterans Health Administration (16), zffriedric (11), and avnet (10). These names tell you where volume hiring is happening—worth researching their interview style and culture before you apply.
