The sales specialist will manage profitable growth of the environmental product line, primarily weld fume control systems. In addition, the position will manage profitability to goal targets. Some travel may be required based on specific project requirements. The sales territory for this role includes New England, Mid Ohio, Great Lakes region and Eastern Canada. Job Duties and Responsibilities Create and execute an annual sales plan for the environmental product line for the assigned region Become the product/application expert and conduct training to outside sales and distributors Review customer requirements/bid specifications and select the appropriate products/solution Create quotations to effectively communicate the proposed solution to the customer Manage the Salesforce opportunity pipeline for the industrial and education markets Effectively communicate our value proposition to our customers Develop and execute a plan to sell against the competition Key account management of large industrial projects which include equipment & turnkey installation Work to engage customers early in the quotation process Effectively manage the quotation process for scope changes and pricing negotiation Help negotiate change orders with customers Provide support to outside sales on standard “plug n play” products Looking for a technical, high energy, aggressive individual to maintain our sales growth Work in collaboration with new product development team to identify market needs & product requirements Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Sales Manger Requirements BS degree in Engineering preferred (Mechanical, Industrial, Environmental, etc) 8+ years of experience Sales, Industrial Filtration Systems or both 5 or more years’ experience in Welding, Fume Extraction or HVAC, management preferred Customer focused professional with a track record of developing industry relationships Must be familiar with contract review, design control procedures, bid/specs as they apply to proposals Excellent verbal, written, phone and interpersonal skills with internal and external customers Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to interface with personnel at all levels of the organization Strong organizational and communication skills Travel up to 30% as needed for role Lincoln Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
