Assembly Engineering Support Engineer (Modules & Engines) (F/M/X) Location: Ajalvir, Madrid, Spain Department: Assembly Engineering Reporting To: Senior Manager Assembly Engineer Position Purpose Provide engineering support to the production and development assembly activities of engine modules and complete engines, ensuring the successful industrialization, optimization, and continuous improvement of assembly processes. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for the production assembly of engine modules and complete engines. Provide technical support for development assembly activities involving engine modules and engines. Collaborate closely with Design Engineering teams to ensure effective product integration. Create, update, and maintain assembly process documentation and instructions. Support the preparation and development of IPAs (Industrial Process Approvals). Drive the industrialization and digitalization of manufacturing and assembly processes. Develop technical specifications for assembly tooling and equipment. Investigate and resolve manufacturing non-conformities and technical issues. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity. Required Profile Education Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Aircraft Engines or Propulsion Systems. Knowledge and experience in the following areas will be highly valued: PLM Teamcenter SAP PP (Production Planning) Module MES Simatic IT Siemens NX (Unigraphics NX) CMM Programming (PC-DMIS) Implementation and use of Intelligent Torque Tools (ITT) Statistical Process Control (SPC) Configuration Management Problem-Solving Methodologies (SCRA / 8D) Languages English: Advanced level (spoken and written) Key Competencies Proactive mindset Teamwork and collaboration Results-oriented approach Strong analytical skills Customer-focused attitude This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the assembly, development, and continuous improvement of aerospace engine modules and complete engines within a dynamic engineering and manufacturing environment.
