Specialist II Quality

Job Overview The Quality Specialist II monitors, inspects, and proposes measures to correct or improve the company's final products and processes to meet established quality standards. A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by: Identifying gaps in efficient process workflow and suggesting steps for supplier quality process improvement. Collecting, preparing, and analyzing data for corrective action and process improvement. Supporting production operations and critical business situations. Ensuring materials and products meet defined product specifications and standards. Documenting the results of all inspections. Reviewing, compiling, and analyzing information to prepare reports. Developing and revising new material specifications. Investigating quality issues to identify root causes and ensure issues are addressed and resolved. Playing an active role in the development of inspection requirements. Analyzing all customer feedback for trends and continuous improvement. What will help you thrive in this role? Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering or a related field Relevant quality certification preferred 6-10 years of relevant experience (required) Working knowledge of quality tools, methods, and concepts (required) Sound knowledge of regulatory standards Proficiency in related systems and software
