What will your typical day look like? You'll design, build and improve the infrastructure that underpins AI solutions, with a strong focus on CI/CD, cloud platforms, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code. That could mean refining deployment pipelines, managing cloud environments across Azure, AWS or GCP, and using tools like Terraform, GitHub, ADO and ArgoCD to create more reliable and repeatable delivery. Much of your work will focus on performance, resilience and security. From monitoring system health and reducing downtime to managing secrets, credentials and DevSecOps controls, you'll help create environments that are stable, compliant and ready to scale as demand grows. Working closely with developers, QA and operations teams, you'll solve practical delivery challenges and remove friction from the release process. The pace is varied, and the work is hands-on - ideal if you enjoy automation, problem-solving and building systems that make great engineering work easier to deliver. About the team The National Generative AI and Assets team sits within Deloitte's Strategy, Transformation & Innovation office. The team brings together design, AI and software development to help shape and scale some of our most important client service offerings. It's a space focused on turning emerging technology into practical business value - improving productivity, streamlining processes and enabling better decisions through modern digital assets and AI-led solutions. Enough about us, let's talk about you You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences: 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer or in a similar role Hands-on experience building and managing Kubernetes workloads Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and/or GCP Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub, ADO and ArgoCD Experience writing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Solid grounding in Linux/Unix, networking, databases, messaging and security Scripting capability in Bash, PowerShell or Python for automation Nice to have - familiarity with security protocols such as OAuth, SAML or OpenID Connect, and experience in a mature managed services environment Why Deloitte? Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
