Your area of work: Group Accounting is responsible for Deutsche Börse Group’s financial reporting under IFRS and HGB and serves as the central competence center for accounting-related matters across the Group. The section defines accounting policies and standards, supports business initiatives with accounting expertise, and ensures high-quality and compliant external financial reporting. In addition, Group Accounting plays a key role in M&A transactions, capital management activities, and major finance transformation initiatives, including SAP migration, integration, and implementation projects across the Group. As a Business Process Specialist Finance Transformation, you will combine your accounting expertise with process improvement and transformation initiatives. You will work closely with Group Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, and IT to ensure that accounting requirements are appropriately reflected in future finance processes and systems. Within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) area, you will contribute to the further development and harmonization of processes ranging from customer onboarding and billing to revenue recognition and financial reporting. Acting as a bridge between business and technology teams, you will help ensure efficient, scalable, and compliant processes across the Group. Your responsibilities: Act as a subject matter expert for Order-to-Cash processes, including customer master data, billing, revenue accounting, and related accounting processes Contribute to the design, harmonization, and improvement of O2C processes across the Group Define and validate business and accounting requirements within finance transformation initiatives Support customer master data and transaction data migration activities from a business and governance perspective Ensure that billing, revenue accounting, and financial reporting requirements are consistently reflected throughout the end-to-end process Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Tax, Treasury, IT, and external implementation partners Support testing activities, business acceptance, training initiatives, and change management activities Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, standardization, and improved controls within the O2C process landscape Contribute to ensuring data quality, process transparency, and compliance with accounting and reporting requirements Your profile: University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field Several years of professional experience in Order-to-Cash, Billing Operations, Revenue Accounting, Financial Accounting, or a related finance functions Strong understanding of customer billing, revenue processes, customer master data, and their interaction with accounting and financial reporting Good understanding of end-to-end business processes, particularly Order-to-Cash Experience with revenue recognition principles and accounting implications of billing and customer-related transactions is advantageous Experience working with SAP or comparable ERP systems as a key user, process owner, business expert, or project team member Knowledge of SAP SD/FI, revenue accounting (RAR), billing processes or sales order migrations is a must have Exposure to finance transformation initiatives, process improvements, system implementations, or migration projects is an advantage Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business and accounting requirements into practical process solutions Strong cross-functional mindset and ability to collaborate across Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT Ability to structure and analyze complex topics and communicate them effectively to different stakeholder groups Experience in O2C, billing, revenue accounting, sales operations, customer master data or related processes Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills Deutsche Börse Group embraces an international climate, whereby diversity is universal.
