Your area of work: As a Senior Financial Controlling Specialist, you will act as a trusted business partner supporting our Shared IT organization. In this role, you will contribute to financial steering activities across the CIO/COO organization, supporting management in budget planning, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial closing processes. Working within the Chief of Staff / IT Strategy function, you will collaborate with senior management, business areas, and corporate functions to provide financial transparency, drive informed decision-making, and ensure effective financial governance across the organization. Your responsibilities: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial results. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year financial planning processes for the Shared IT organization. Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to support effective budget management. Calculate and maintain allocation keys and ensure accurate service costing based on the Shared IT service catalogue. Deliver transparent and actionable financial reporting to management and key stakeholders. Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Support project managers in financial planning, business case preparation, and project controlling activities. Oversee project financial performance, including KPI tracking, capitalization processes, and investment impact assessments. Consolidate project financials, challenge assumptions, and identify budget variances, risks, and optimization opportunities. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business and corporate functions to ensure alignment and financial transparency. Your profile: University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. 8–12 years of experience in financial controlling, financial analysis, or a comparable finance-related role. Hands-on experience with SAP solutions, ideally S/4HANA (FI/CO) and SAP Analytics Cloud. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications. Strong understanding of accounting and controlling principles, processes, and terminology. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across international teams. Well-organized team player, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
