About the role Join a 2026 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and 2026 Sustainability Champion recognised by the World Steel Association. Play a key role in shaping our performance across our Cyclone Rural business. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will lead sales growth across Queensland, building strong relationships with distributor networks, retailers and end users to expand Cyclone Rural's market presence. Working within our brand strategy, you'll drive revenue, volume and market share outcomes through disciplined planning, customer engagement and execution. This is a highly autonomous role suited to a passionate sales professional who thrives on the road, enjoys building lasting relationships and is motivated by delivering results in a competitive market. Location: This is a remote, field-based role. Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba or surrounding South East Queensland locations considered. Frequent weekly travel across Queensland is required, with the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own schedule from a home office base. What you will be doing: Deliver regional sales targets across revenue, volume, margin and market share objectives. Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, buying groups, retailers and key end users across Queensland. Develop and execute regional sales plans, identifying growth opportunities and implementing targeted sales initiatives. Conduct regular customer and store visits, providing solutions, resolving issues and enhancing customer engagement. Monitor market activity, competitor movements and customer trends, providing timely insights and recommendations. Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline and market intelligence within Salesforce. Partner with internal stakeholders to implement national sales and marketing programs and support business growth. Self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to take direction, adapt to change and contribute positively to team success. Experience in rural, agricultural, fencing, hardware or related industries is highly regarded; however, candidates with transferable sales experience and a genuine willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
