Job Summary We are looking for a Senior AI QA Automation Engineer to build and scale AI-enabled testing capabilities across our digital platforms. This role combines strong automation engineering with hands-on use of generative AI to improve test coverage, speed, and quality. You will enhance existing automation frameworks with AI-driven capabilities such as test generation, failure analysis, and test optimization, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Working closely with engineering, QA, and DevOps teams, you will help drive a more efficient, data-driven, and AI-assisted approach to quality engineering. The role requires active involvement in building and enhancing automation frameworks, integrating AI capabilities, and driving measurable improvements in testing efficiency and quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities AI-Enabled Test Automation • Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications • Enhance existing automation (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) with AI-driven capabilities such as: • Test case generation • Test data creation • Failure analysis and debugging support Practical AI Integration in QA • Apply GenAI (e.g., Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs) to improve testing efficiency, including: • Automated test creation and maintenance • Result summarization and defect insights • Test coverage and risk analysis • Build Python or JavaScript utilities to integrate AI services into QA workflows CI/CD & Quality Engineering • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) with clear quality gates • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to enable continuous testing and faster feedback cycles • Ensure test traceability, coverage visibility, and alignment with release processes Quality Strategy & Best Practices • Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and automation roadmap for digital platforms • Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, stability, and execution efficiency • Establish and promote best practices for AI-assisted testing across the team Data-Driven Quality Improvements • Leverage test results, logs, and telemetry to: • Identify flaky tests and root causes • Improve defect detection and test prioritization • Support development of metrics and dashboards to track automation effectiveness and quality trends Continuous Improvement & Innovation • Evaluate emerging tools and approaches in AI-driven QA and automation • Pilot and implement improvements that increase automation efficiency and release confidence #LI-Hybrid #LI-SM Additional Responsibilities Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Work Experience 5–8 years of experience in QA automation / SDET roles, with strong focus on scalable test automation Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks for web, API, and at least one of mobile or desktop applications Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) and integrating automated tests into release workflows Hands-on experience or demonstrated interest in applying AI/GenAI to testing, such as: Test case generation Test data creation Defect analysis or prediction Use of tools like Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or similar Experience working with modern testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, REST Assured, Appium, BrowserStack) Exposure to automation strategy, test planning, and quality engineering practices in agile environments Experience driving automation improvements or transformation initiatives is a strong plus Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Good to have experience implementing or working with AI-driven testing techniques, such as Self-healing automation, LLM-based test generation and optimization, AI-assisted defect triaging or flaky test detection • Preffered to modern test automation architectures, including modular, API-first, and scalable framework design • Desirable with observability and telemetry-driven testing, using tools like Azure Application Insights, logs, and usage analytics • Familiarity with test data management strategies, including synthetic data generation and AI-assisted data creation • Understanding of AI model behavior and evaluation, including prompt engineering, output validation, and handling model limitations in testing workflows • Experience working in enterprise environments with integrated systems • Exposure to performance, reliability, or resilience testing in distributed systems Comply with all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description Comply with the company’s safety and quality policies License and Certifications Travel Requirements 10%: Up to 26 business days per year Additional Requirements What We Offer Shift 12pm – 9pm India time. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
