General Description Instruct contractors to perform work in compliance with Bureau Veritas' supervision procedures agreed upon by the Investor and other parties at the site. Supervise, inspect and accept the quality of products at the project to ensure compliance with labor safety standards/regulations. Coordinate with supervisors and other construction engineers to ensure safe construction according to the criteria of "ZERO ACCIDENT". Inspect and supervise contractor activities at the project as required. B. Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities Co-ordinate with relative parties regarding maintenance health, environment and safety regulations, labor safety procedures, fire - explosion fighting procedures. Conduct and follow up registration and verification of machines, equipment's and materials subject to strict occupational safety requirements on site. Patrol site, urge contractors to comply safety regulations, safety standards, health - environment regulations and propose the measures to improve unsafe situations on site. Supervise and inspect contractor’s safety officer, receive daily HSE checklist, weekly HSE report. Issue Site Safety Instruction to Contractor, follow up and apply NCR penalty (If necessary). Participate in site meetings, report and investigate any incident, accident and security on site. Prepare reports on daily, weekly basis as required relevant to his job. Stop unsafe practices on site anytime. Ensure that SAFETY is carried out in its full implementation on site. Record and monitor all activities within the scope of construction assigned by the project manager. Update monitoring log, site log promptly and daily. C. Job Qualifications University degree with good experience in HSE Use English fluency Have at least 5 years’ experience in HSE supervisor/inspector for building & infrastructure fields. Occupational safety training certificate group I; II Have appropriate practice certificate in accordance with state regulations D. Job Competencies D.1 Technical and professional skills Has suitable work experience in the technical aspects of the required field, complemented by training in audit techniques. Has profound knowledge and reputation in the local certification market Has demonstrated strong abilities in managing people, or client liaison. Negotiation / presentation Problem solving, decision making Good communication Customer services Fluent in reading, writing & speaking English.
