We are looking for Presales Consultant, please find the JD below: Presales Consultant Type of Hire: Full-Time Min: 12+ yrs Role Summary The Presales expert TM – Presales & Execution plays a pivotal role in the end-to-end deal lifecycle, with a primary focus on the presales phase of large, complex IT outsourcing opportunities ranging from £10M to £200M+ TCV. Acting as the transition solution owner during bids, this role is responsible for designing, validating, and costing transition and transformation programs that are commercially sound, operationally feasible, and aligned with client-specific requirements. As part of the presales team, the Senior Transition Manager leads transition solutioning and potential due diligence efforts, defines transition strategies, and ensures seamless alignment between solution design and delivery capability. This individual works collaboratively with sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to create robust, end-to-end solutions that ensure cost control, risk mitigation, and high-quality service readiness. In the execution phase, the role ensures the smooth handover of transition plans to delivery teams, supporting early-stage execution through structured governance, knowledge transfer, and oversight to protect solution integrity and client outcomes. A. Presales Responsibilities (Primary Focus – 70%) Lead the transition solution stream in RFPs, RFIs, and proactive proposals by engaging early with the Sales and Solutioning teams. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Solution Managers, Delivery / Practice Heads, Finance, HR, Legal) to define/validate a transition approach that supports the proposed operating model. Develop detailed transition blueprints, high-level / detailed project plans, staffing models, timelines, risk registers, and assumptions aligned with customer requirements. Participate in customer due diligence activities, validating current state operations, capturing transition-specific constraints, and identifying transformation levers. Own and prepare the transition cost model, ensuring alignment with delivery feasibility, internal benchmarks, and bid financial targets. Present and defend the transition solution during orals, client presentations, and contract negotiations, articulating the value, approach, risk mitigations, and success criteria. Evaluate the readiness of delivery units to execute the proposed transition and identify capability gaps or dependencies. Act as a key interface to Delivery Assurance and Risk & Compliance teams to ensure adherence to Atos governance, legal, and risk management standards. Coordinate with the Bid Manager to ensure solution compliance with Atos presales processes (Win2Deliver, RAINBOW etc) while aligning to the Solution to win benchmarks. Drive integration of transition and transformation elements into a comprehensive delivery program, ensuring traceability from solution to execution. Validate and challenge transformation components (where applicable) to ensure scope, complexity, and dependencies are accurately reflected. Support creation of transition-specific bid artefacts: solution write-ups, SOW inputs, RAID log, governance model, service readiness criteria, and delivery ramp-up plans. B. Transition Execution Responsibilities (Secondary Focus – 30%) Translate bid commitments into execution-ready transition project plans with aligned workstreams, deliverables, and milestones. Ensure smooth handover from presales to delivery by onboarding Transition Project Managers and briefing delivery leads on assumptions, dependencies, and risks. Provide ongoing advisory and oversight during initial stages of transition to ensure alignment with bid intent. Escalate any deviations or delivery risks identified post-handover and ensure appropriate mitigation actions are taken. Support transition execution governance, helping define escalation paths, program dashboards, and client reporting formats. Experience Overall 12-20 years of experience working in IT service organization Should have at least one project management certification (PgMP/PMP/Prince 2 Practitioner/MSP) 8-10 years of experience in Transition management functions within IT or Outsourcing Strong client-facing and management Skills Proven track record in an international environment or projects Domain expertise is a big plus (Manufacturing, Healthcare, Telecom) Key skills Strong communication and stakeholder management at senior leadership and client executive levels. Commercial and financial acumen with ability to balance delivery feasibility and bid competitiveness. Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and solution structuring abilities.
