Purpose of the Job The Station Manager is responsible for leading the overall performance of the Kuala Lumpur station, ensuring operational excellence, business growth, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. The role acts as the key leader for the station, translating company strategy into local execution while maintaining strong relationships with customers, employees, partners, and stakeholders. Job Description Business & Strategic Leadership Execute the company's strategy, vision, and objectives at the station level. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and risks. Develop and implement station business and operational plans to support growth and profitability. Share market insights and business updates with regional and global leadership teams. Promote and strengthen the Aramex brand and reputation in the local market. Customer & Commercial Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, government agencies, suppliers, airlines, and business partners. Lead customer retention and loyalty initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction. Manage escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution of root causes. Support business development activities, including customer visits and executive presentations. Partner with Sales teams to drive revenue growth and achieve commercial targets. Maintain regular engagement with key accounts, including strategic reviews with major customers. People Leadership Foster a positive, high-performance, and inclusive work environment aligned with Aramex values and culture. Lead, coach, and develop station leaders and employees. Partner with HR to attract, develop, and retain talent. Ensure employees receive the necessary training, tools, and support to perform effectively. Drive employee engagement, satisfaction, and wellbeing initiatives. Oversee performance management processes, including appraisals, development planning, and succession planning. Encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Financial Management Deliver financial targets, profitability objectives, and sustainable business growth. Ensure effective cash flow management, including monitoring receivables and customer credit limits. Oversee station budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. Partner with Finance to control expenses and optimize resource utilization. Operational Excellence & Compliance Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality station operations. Monitor operational performance indicators and implement improvement initiatives. Drive productivity and operational excellence while maintaining service quality standards. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and audit requirements. Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, and business risks. Lead regular operational reviews with managers, supervisors, and frontline teams. Job Requirements - Experience and Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field. Proven leadership experience in logistics, transportation, express delivery, supply chain, or related industries. Strong commercial, financial, and operational management skills. Ability to lead large and diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience in driving customer satisfaction, business growth, and operational improvement.
