Purpose of the Job The SAP Integration Consultant is a hands-on technical role responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems. The role focuses on leveraging SAP Integration Suite (CPI) as the primary platform, while also supporting and maintaining legacy integrations on SAP PI/PO where applicable. Job Description Operation: Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration / CPI). Support and maintain existing integrations on SAP PI/PO, including troubleshooting, enhancements, and migration to CPI where applicable. Build and configure integration flows (iFlows), APIs, event-based integrations, and adapters (IDoc, SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, etc.). Perform end-to-end integration development including mapping, transformation (XML, JSON), and routing logic. Monitor integration processes, identify failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes to ensure high availability. Customer: Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and external partners to understand integration requirements. Translate business requirements into technical integration designs and solutions. Provide technical guidance and recommendations on integration approaches and best practices. People: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including SAP functional, infrastructure, and security teams. Mentor junior integration developers and share knowledge on SAP Integration Suite and PI/PO Contribute to building internal capabilities and reusable integration assets (templates, frameworks). Job Requirements - Experience and Education Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP integration technologies. Proven experience with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration / CPI). Experience working with SAP PI/PO in development, support, or migration scenarios. Strong experience in integration design patterns, APIs, and middleware concepts. Experience integrating SAP (S/4HANA, ECC) with third-party and cloud systems. Exposure to API management, event-driven architecture, and hybrid integration scenarios is preferred. Experience in logistics, supply chain, or enterprise environments is an advantage. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. SAP certifications in SAP Integration Suite or SAP PI/PO are preferred.
