Purpose of the Job A “D&T Technical Solution Manager – Marketing and Commercial” plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation within an organization. They ensure that technology solutions align with business goals and effectively address client requirements. The Technical Solution Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and running of smart technology solutions that meet the business requirements of customers or the organization. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including customers, project managers, developers, infrastructure and other technical teams, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Job Description Operation: Act as the lead solution architect and senior engineer for complex initiatives Design and oversee implementation of solutions leveraging: Vertex AI (ML pipelines, GenAI capabilities) Gemini models (LLM-powered use cases) Dialogflow CX/ES (chatbots and voice bots) Define reference architectures for: Conversational AI GenAI-powered workflows (RAG, summarisation, automation) Provide hands-on contribution to: Solution design Code reviews Troubleshooting critical issues Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team including: Full stack developers AI & Conversational Engineers Own: Resource planning and capacity management Skill development and technical coaching Delivery quality and engineering standards Establish best practices and reusable frameworks across: GCP development AI/GenAI implementation API and integration design Own the end-to-end lifecycle of: Chatbots (web, app, WhatsApp, etc.) Voice bots (IVR integrations) AI-driven customer engagement use cases Define and enforce: Conversational design standards Intent and flow governance Performance optimisation frameworks Collaborate with Domain Architects on architecture decisions & tech debt triage Roadmap alignment with business Lead quarterly GCP cost review Own and govern solutions deployed on Google Cloud Platform , including: Architecture standards Cost optimisation Security and compliance (data residency, access control) Ensure proper use of: Vertex AI services APIs and microservices Cloud-native design principles Customer: Serve as the primary technical partner to business stakeholders Translate business requirements into: Scalable solutions Prioritised delivery roadmap Manage: Demand intake and backlog Change requests and enhancements Ensure alignment between: Business objectives Technical feasibility Platform strategy Collaborate with BA team to validate and verify business requirements. Collaborate with shared services teams to understand customer needs and preferences and provide actionable recommendations for improving customer experience. Provide feedback and recommendations for future projects based on lessons learned. Escalation point for P1 incidents People: Coordinate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Lead and mentor a team of experts to provide full system support activities comprising of AI & Conversational engineer, Full Stack Developers. Execute Sprint planning & capacity management Ensure the team adheres to best practices and industry standards. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Job Requirements - Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 9+ years of experience in a technical role. At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial position and 2+ years Goggle Cloud Platform experience with production applications Goggle Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect Deep understanding of: LLMs (Gemini, open-source, or proprietary) Prompt engineering and RAG architectures Experience in: API-led architectures and microservices Full stack development (frontend + backend) Working knowledge of: Data integration, event-driven architecture Vector databases and semantic search Proven experience delivering: Chatbots and voice bots at scale AI-driven customer service solutions Strong grasp of: Conversational design principles Multi-turn dialogue orchestration Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams Strong delivery management capability across: Agile environments Complex, multi-system integrations Ability to balance: Hands-on technical contribution Strategic oversight Proficiency in System & API design Knowledgeable on cost & quota management in cloud environments Proficiency in relevant programming languages and technologies REACT, node.js, Python.
