QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. Minimum of three years of relevant experience in maintenance engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. Hands-on experience with pneumatic systems, mechanical power transmission systems, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, fans, couplings, and lubrication systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; experience with AutoCAD or similar technical drawing software is preferred. Strong knowledge of failure analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies. Good understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Good command of technical English. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. JOB DESCRIPTION Plan, coordinate, and follow up on mechanical maintenance activities for production machinery and utility equipment across the facility. Ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of preventive and predictive maintenance activities. Respond effectively to unplanned breakdowns, perform failure analyses, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Analyse recurring mechanical failures and develop permanent corrective and preventive actions. Prepare, monitor, and maintain maintenance plans, work orders, and maintenance records. Develop maintenance strategies for critical equipment and implement actions to improve equipment reliability. Identify mechanical spare parts and consumable requirements and support the effective management of critical spare-parts inventory.
