Information about the position Job description, responsibilities and duties As a key member of our new BESSMONT business stream, the Sales & Business Development Manager will be at the forefront of the energy transition. You will drive the company’s growth by positioning our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and advanced Power Solutions to a diverse range of B2B clients and partners. Your mission is to identify new market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and deliver complex energy infrastructure projects. This role requires a combination of technical market understanding, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution to strengthen our position as a leader in innovative power solutions. Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities for the BESSMONT stream across target markets, focusing on BESS and advanced Power Solutions. Build, manage, and grow a strong pipeline of prospects, leads, and partners within the energy sector, ensuring continuous business development for energy storage projects. Lead the full sales cycle for BESSMONT solutions, from technical lead generation and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closing. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, investors, and stakeholders in the energy industry to support repeat business and strategic collaboration. Prepare commercial proposals, pricing models, and ROI business cases for battery storage and power systems in cooperation with internal engineering teams to ensure competitive offers. Conduct market and competitor analysis to understand customer needs, grid requirements, and emerging trends in the energy storage (BESS) market. Represent BESSMONT in high-level meetings, negotiations, conferences, and industry events to strengthen market presence and brand credibility as a power solutions provider. Work closely with marketing, product, and strategy teams to align sales activities with the technical roadmap of our Power Solutions portfolio. Support the development of go-to-market strategies, sales campaigns, and customer acquisition plans specifically tailored for the BESSMONT business stream. Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and conversion rates, taking corrective actions when targets for the energy storage segment are at risk. Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates for senior management regarding the growth and penetration of our power solutions. Support contract management for BESS projects, including renewals, amendments, and ongoing customer engagement or service agreements. Gather customer feedback and technical insights from the field and feed them back into BESSMONT product development and strategic planning. Ensure accurate documentation of sales activities, technical specifications, and opportunities in CRM and reporting systems. Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes, tools, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and scalability of our power solutions business. Requirements for the employee Minimum education required University education (Bachelor's degree) Educational Specialization Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economy, Marketing, or related field. Language skills Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and English - Advanced (C1) Driving licence B Number of years of experience 5 Personality requirements and skills Experience requirements: 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, key account management, or a similar commercial role. Proven experience in managing complex sales cycles and building long-term customer relationships. Other requirements: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strategic mindset with the ability to translate market opportunities into concrete business results. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. High level of professionalism, reliability, and customer focus. Knowledge of the BESS and/or power solutions sector is considered an advantage. Previous experience in energy sector is considered an advantage.
