Senior Cloud Service & FinOps Manager

Information about the position Job description, responsibilities and duties About the Role We are searching for a Senior Service Management Expert, whose mission is to enable DevOps teams to take full advantage of the flexibility of public cloud products while ensuring that the necessary governance and control of established service management disciplines are applied. Your focus will be on governing the cloud providers, improving operational excellence to support our DevOps teams in their deployment pipelines, managing and optimizing Cloud and AI cost, developing and validating the necessary controls and assurance protocols as required by Governance. This role is suitable for candidates of all genders. Responsibilities - Contracting: Manage public cloud contracts (Azure, Alibaba) as well as Engineering contracts with various external providers - Operational stability: Maintain and improve existing measurements and automation with our DevOps Teams - Operational support: Maintain and improve the current Target Operating Model and service delivery with the Cloud providers - Operational controls: Create and validate controls for the various Operations Processes like Cost Management, (Major) Incident Management, Monitoring, Logging & Event Management, Configuration Management; Change and Release Management; IT Service Continuity Management; Identity and Access Management. Requirements for the employee Minimum education required University education (Bachelor's degree) Personality requirements and skills Requirements - University degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or comparable education/experience) - >5 years of professional experience. - Technical knowledge and deep understanding of: IT Service Management (e.g. ITIL V2-4, Cobit); Microsoft vision on Modern Service Management; Cloud and Azure Concepts (Azure Fundamentals Certified, AZ-900); Defining and Deploying Operational MSM Practices (e.g. Cost Management, Configuration Management, Change and Release Management and Incident Management); Cloud Native (Modern) Service Management tooling; DevOps processes - Experience with: Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, Log Analytics and PowerBI - You are a certified FinOps Professional and have deep experience in applying FinOps practices on Cloud and good understanding of how these principles and framework can be applied to the AI - Experienced communicator both written & verbal - Can engage and work with senior stakeholders and colleagues from cross-functional teams - Result driven, strong analytical & conceptual skills - Ability to motivate others and readiness for close teamwork across multiple locations
