- The Senior Database Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of DTS database systems, with a focus on Oracle and PostgreSQL and cloud-based backup solutions like Rubrik. - Operating within cloud platforms such as AWS and Oracle Cloud, this role requires deep expertise in database engineering, performance tuning, backup and recovery solutions such as Rubrik and Delphix, cloud database technologies, and the audit and security of database systems. - The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our database environments. What We re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications : - Bachelor s or master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 6+ years of experience in database administration and engineering, with a significant focus on Oracle and PostgreSQL. - Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Oracle Cloud. - Strong knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, and security best practices. - Strong Knowledge of database automation tools. Soft Skills : - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong partnership-building skills with various business unit stakeholders. - Strategic vision and creative thinking. - Ability to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Additional Preferred Qualifications : - Additional knowledge of NoSQL and Vector databases is a plus. - Experience with data lake environments, data fabric architecture, and the ETL ecosystem. - Experience working in public cloud environments like Oracle Cloud, Azure and AWS. - Good knowledge and experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. .
