About The Role We are looking for a Drawing Automation Engineer to build and enhance an automated technical drawing platform. You will develop browser-based SVG drawing generation, implement layout and rendering logic, and ensure accurate exports to PDF and DXF. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working with JavaScript/TypeScript, SVG, geometry, rendering engines, and technical drawing automation. Key Responsibilities Develop and enhance automated drawing generation using JavaScript/TypeScript.Build SVG rendering logic for dimensions, labels, annotations, layouts, and drawing elements.Implement geometry-based rules for positioning, scaling, alignment, and overlap handling.Ensure browser previews match PDF and DXF exports.Debug rendering issues using browser DevTools, DOM inspection, coordinate systems, and transforms.Build reusable rendering components and layout logic.Create automated tests and visual regression checks.Document drawing rules, assumptions, and edge cases.Work closely with engineering and domain experts to deliver accurate drawing automation. Required Skills Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.Hands-on experience with HTML, SVG, DOM manipulation, and browser rendering.Good understanding of geometry, coordinate systems, transforms, scaling, and layout algorithms.Experience building diagramming tools, SVG editors, drawing tools, layout engines, or data visualization applications.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Experience working with structured JSON data.Familiarity with Git and Agile development practices.
