Strong experience in Microsoft Active Directory administration across enterprise, multi-site environments. Must-have expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration and Hybrid Identity (Entra Connect/AD Connect). Strong experience in managing Domain Controllers, AD Replication, FSMO Roles, Schema, Trusts, NTDS, DFSR, and AD Sites & Services. Hands-on experience with Windows Server (20122022+), DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Group Policy (GPO) administration. Experience designing and implementing Conditional Access, SSO, MFA, RBAC, PIM, and Identity Lifecycle Management. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 identity services, Exchange Online, and Hybrid Exchange administration. Experience managing mail flow, connectors, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, licensing, and directory synchronization. Hands-on experience troubleshooting OAuth, SAML, Kerberos, and NTLM authentication issues. Lead Active Directory upgrades, migrations, consolidations, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery initiatives. Troubleshoot and resolve complex authentication issues involving OAuth, SAML, Kerberos, and NTLM. Perform root cause analysis for critical production incidents and implement preventive solutions. Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to strengthen enterprise identity services. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
